MarketMichi publishes practical guidance for Japanese companies entering the United States and global companies entering Japan. We prioritize decisions a team can act on: customer selection, sales follow-up, operating design and questions that require professional confirmation.

• Regulatory and institutional claims are linked to official sources where practical.
• Advice is framed as a process or operating recommendation, not as a guaranteed result.
• Unknowns and product-specific questions are identified rather than guessed.
• Articles show an update date and are reviewed when material rules or product features change.

Affiliate disclosure

The site does not currently use affiliate tracking links. If affiliate links are introduced, we may receive compensation when a reader signs up or purchases through a clearly marked link, at no added cost to the reader unless explicitly stated.

Compensation will not determine whether a product is included or the substance of our assessment. A commercial relationship will be disclosed close to the relevant recommendation. Readers should confirm current pricing, eligibility and terms on the provider’s official site.

AI-assisted workflow

AI may assist with outlining, drafting, translation, editing and routine checks. It is not treated as a source of truth. Factual claims that affect legal, tax, regulatory or product decisions are routed to official materials and, where needed, qualified professionals.

Privacy

The five-question readiness check runs in the reader’s browser. MarketMichi does not receive or store the selected readiness-check answers. When an inquiry form is submitted, the company and contact name, reply email, target market, current situation and inquiry are transmitted to MarketMichi through Formspree. The referring page URL and campaign parameters may also be included so we can identify the inquiry source. We use this information to respond to and manage the inquiry and understand its source, and we do not add it to a marketing list without consent.

Do not submit confidential information, payment details or government-issued identifiers through the form. Formspree may process technical information such as an IP address and browser information while handling a submission. Review the Formspree Privacy Policy for details. The site currently has no account creation, newsletter form or advertising tracker.

Operator name

The public operator name is “MarketMichi Operations.” The individual operator’s name is not displayed on the site. When an affiliate platform, payment provider or tax authority requires identity verification, the necessary legal information will be submitted privately and directly to that organization.
